- 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheese blend (mozzarella and cheddar)
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup sliced olives (black or green)
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat, then add diced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until tender.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, meat mixture, pizza sauce, half of the cheese blend, olives, and pepperoni slices.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese blend.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
