  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 8 hot dogs (beef, turkey, or vegetarian)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Mustard or ketchup (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into thin strips about half an inch wide.
  3. Take one hot dog and wrap it with puff pastry strips, leaving small gaps for an authentic mummy look.
  4. Place each wrapped hot dog on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them lightly with a mixture of beaten egg and water.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
