Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Steak: Cut the flank steak into smaller chunks. Pat dry and season liberally with taco seasoning on all sides.
  2. 2. Sauté Onions and Garlic: Set your Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode. Add a splash of olive oil and sauté the sliced onions until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Brown the Steak: Add the seasoned flank steak pieces to the pot with the onions and garlic. Sear on all sides until browned.
  4. 4. Pressure Cook: Pour in beef broth to deglaze the pot, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom. Close the lid and set to 'Pressure Cook' on high for about 25 minutes.
