- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft, approximately 5 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat mixture with cream of mushroom soup. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
- Pour the meat mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly. Top generously with frozen tater tots.
- Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until melted.
- Transfer to plates and enjoy!
