- 1 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, dates, cranberries)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan or preferred baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, beat brown sugar and eggs until creamy. Gradually add melted butter and milk, mixing until smooth.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; some lumps are okay.
- Stir in the dried fruits and chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is cooling, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake before serving.
