Ingredients

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time into the butter mixture, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Stir gently until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the M&Ms to avoid breaking them apart.
  7. Spoon the batter into your prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
