Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon until well-coated.
- Add about 1/2 cup of caramel sauce to the apple mixture and stir gently.
- Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut out circles approximately four inches in diameter using a cookie cutter or glass.
- Place about one tablespoon of the apple filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold each pastry circle over to create half-moons and press down edges with a fork to seal.
- Arrange the mini pies on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter for golden brown goodness.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffy and golden.
