Description

Mini Caramel Apple Pies are delightful bite-sized desserts featuring spiced apples and gooey caramel, all wrapped in a flaky crust. Perfect for any occasion, these treats are sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon until well-coated.
  3. Add about 1/2 cup of caramel sauce to the apple mixture and stir gently.
  4. Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Cut out circles approximately four inches in diameter using a cookie cutter or glass.
  6. Place about one tablespoon of the apple filling in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold each pastry circle over to create half-moons and press down edges with a fork to seal.
  8. Arrange the mini pies on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Brush tops with melted butter for golden brown goodness.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffy and golden.
