Description

Savor the deliciousness of homemade meatballs that are tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor—perfect for pasta dishes or as delightful appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 28 ounces canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic, and onion. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should be at least 160°F/70°C).
  5. While the meatballs are baking, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes along with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Once the meatballs are ready, toss them in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with extra sauce on top.
