Description

Crispy Fried Ravioli filled with cheesy goodness, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. A delightful appetizer that will impress at any gathering or cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (9 oz) fresh or frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain or Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Vegetable or canola oil (for frying)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Station: Set up three shallow bowls in a row. In the first bowl, crack and whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt. In the second bowl, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. The third bowl should hold your ravioli.
  2. Dip and Coat: Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture first, allowing excess to drip off. Transfer to the breadcrumb mixture, coating thoroughly until fully covered.
  3. Heat Up That Oil: In a large skillet or deep frying pan, pour enough oil to cover about half an inch of the bottom. Heat over medium heat until hot but not smoking (around 350°F / 175°C).
  4. Fry Away: Carefully place coated ravioli into the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Fry until golden brown on each side—about two minutes per side.
  5. Drain Excess Oil: Once done frying, transfer your crispy ravioli onto paper towels to absorb excess oil while finishing the rest.
  6. Serve with Style: Arrange your Fried Ravioli on a platter and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
