- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Peel and core the apples, then cut each into quarters.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Wrap each apple quarter snugly in one triangle of dough.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Place each wrapped apple in the greased baking dish. Pour the sugar mixture over them and add water around the dumplings.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Drizzle any remaining syrup over the dumplings before serving warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
