Scale
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika (smoked preferred)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide for even cooking.
- In one bowl, whisk eggs until frothy. In another bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Roll them in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
